The correct beta entitlement for TestFlight Beta Testing in iTunesConnect

Hi! I want to use TestFlight Beta Testing in iTuneConnect. But the builds that I compile with FlashBuilder don't contain the correct entitlement. I've generated new provisioning file, downloaded it and compiled my app with it. I use Adobe AIR SDK 15.0.0.295. How can I generate the correct entitlement? Olga

Problem with Flash Builder 4.6 when debugging native extension for OSX

I think I stumbled upon a bug in Flash Builder 4.6. I'm running FB on OSX 10.7 and I'm building native extension for OSX (AIR 3.1).

 

After successfull creation of my extension's native code .framework file in Xcode, writing Action Script wrapper around it and packaging everything together in ANE file (using adt) I discovered that I couldn't start a debug session from Flash Builder (4.6 and AIR 3.1). Since I was able to test my extension from terminal (using adl), I am pretty sure that I connected all the dots correctly.

 

I discovered that Flash Builder only before starting debug session unpacks the extension's .ane file into some temporary folder, beneath the workspace. Unfortunately, it messes the attributes of unpacked files so aliases are missing (they look like regular files) and main binary inside OSX's .framework package is missing executable attribute. Since those aliases and attributes are essential for things to work on OSX, FB simply fails to find extension and reports error like "ArgumentError: Error #3500: The extension context does not have a method with the name". Somebody else stumbled upon this in following post http://forums.adobe.com/message/3974973 (it seems it's specific to Linux and OSX, but not Windows - no aliasing there, huh?).

 

I would appreciate if somebody from Adobe could check that and verify if that's up to Flash Builder or not.

I am updating an old school project for a company, which requires Flash Builder. Since this is a relatively small job, a full license is not required. Is Flash Builder part of Creative Cloud? I can't find it among the single applications.

Compiler not embedding current assets / cache cleaning

dear all,

 

In FlashBuilder 4.7 (beta + release), it consistently happens that linked assets aren't (re)loaded when compiling. Cleaning the project doesn't seem to help. Restarting FB, then cleaning + building mostly reloads the assets.

Is there a way to (manually?) clean all caches, the way a restart of FB does?

This seems reproducible:

1. Make 'assets.fla' file in Flash Professional, create one symbol with some random graphics, ActionScript Linkage Class set to 'SomeGraphicAsset', publish to 'assets.swf'

2. In Flash Builder 4.7, create new ActionScript Mobile project

3. Make new Class "SomeGraphic", link with previously created graphics in Flash:

 

package

          import flash.display.MovieClip;

 

          [Embed(source="/../embedded-assets/assets.swf", symbol="SomeGraphicAsset")]

          publicclass SomeGraphic extends MovieClip

          {

                    publicfunction SomeGraphic()

                    {

                              super();

                    }

}

 

4. In constructor of entry-point class for project add:

 

var somegraphic:SomeGraphic = new SomeGraphic();

this.addChild(somegraphic)

 

5. compile / debug project

6. open 'assets.fla' in Flash Pro. Change something to the 'SomeGraphicAsset' symbol. Publish to .swf file.

7. In Flash Builder, debug -> shows old file without updated graphics

8. In Flash Builder, clean project, debug -> shows old file without updated graphics

9. Close Flash Builder, reopen Flash Builder, clean project, debug -> mostly the updated graphics show.

 

Any feedback to make this more workable, or a way to fully flush all caches in FB are greatly appreciated.

It's crazy having to close / open FB every time a graphical asset changes in your project.

 

- this has been tested on 2 different Mac OSX 10.8.x computers, FlashBuilder 4.7 AIR SDK 3.5

How to delete a tab from TabNavigator in Flash Builder 4.6?

I have a RSS Reader project I have added tabNavigator to manage tabs now I am trying to delete one tab but when Running App Tab is still there.

 

I have visibility False and enabled False

 

Please help me!!!!

Using the latest Fb.

 

As per the tutorial: http://away3d.com/tutorials/Interactivity_and_Tweening

 

I am using Caurina, I have created a build path, the FlashBuilder recognizes it and code-helps to import in actionscript.

 

But all references to it consider it non-existent which is causing compile errors.

 

Has anyone come across this problem before? Thanks.

When I change the main project mxml file, then export it, the swf doesn't change, why?

I have an existing project from years ago that I need to modify, I am using Flash Builder 4. When I export the project it creates an swf file in bin-release, then when I modify the code in the project mxml file or any supporting files and export it the swf should change but it is not. Do you have any idea why this may be happening?

Flash Builder - CS6 will not launch

Flash Builder will startup and die out.  Other apps work fine. I'm using a MacBook Pro and still using Maverick.  I've updated my Java but it's still not working.  Can someone help me fix this issue?

Can't donwload Flash Builder 4.7

I can't find out how to download/install FB4.7.

 

When I go to my creative cloud I go to the Game developer tools and click on the download button next to Flash builder 4.7.

The only thing that is downloading is the AdobeApplicationManager, when I install it I get exactly the same app manager I have already installed, without any mention of FB 4.7. Only about FB4.6 which is up to date.

 

Not sure what else I can try, any idea?

Hi there,

 

I installed a new windows version and now I wanted to install Flash Builder 4.7.

I logged in my account (my orders) and I'm only able to install and download Flash Builder 4.5 and Adobe Flex Builder 3 Professional.

 

There are two license keys under Flash Builder Premium 4.5 but there is no link to Flash Builder 4.7...I upgraded Flash Builder 4.5 to 4.7...

It seems as if the upgrade wasn't saved on adobes site but the strange thing is that there are two license for Flash Builder 4.7?

 

Flash Builder is necessary for my daily work so it is really urgent!

Mobile device javascript callback

I want to make a mobile device application which it loads an html website. The best method i found till now to achieve that it is by using the StageWebView() class. With this i have a very good interaction but my problem is the follwing: I want to take javascript calbacks (i read somewhere that i can achive that with the function ExternalInterface.addCallback() but this is not supported on mobile devices). When the user clicks a button, in the html page, a javascript is getting called, so when that called is been made i want my application to do something. So my question is, how can i know that a javascript call has been made?


Flash CC keeps crashing every-time I try to save

Working on an urgent project and Flash CC keeps freezing (wheel of death) on me every time I try to save leaving me no option but to force quit.

IOS ipa fails to install with Flash Builder 4.7 + Yosemite

Now that I've gotten Flash Builder 4.7 to work with OSX 10.10 Yosemite (*see below) I find the ipa no longer installs on my iPad via iTunes. The icon shows up but stays dim.

The app compiles and runs ok in the iPad simulator

 

This is one day after having the app accepted into the app store--no way to celebrate!

Invalid Segment Alignment

I'm trying to load an .ipa file (on mac using the application loader).

After few minutes i get an error message say

ERROR ITMS -9000 : "Invalid segment alignment".
My .ipa file was created with flash builder 4.6,

Flex sdk version 4.6 (build 23201)

Air version 15.

 

What do I have to do to fix this problem.

Debugging application with Deflate and Network Monitor enabled results in failed HTTP requests

I am using Flash Builder 4.6 and Flex SDK 4.6.

 

To speed things up, I have enabled deflate on the server in my htaccess config. If I access a PHP file on the server in my browser, it loads fine and "gzip" appears in the response headers.

 

However in Flash Builder with network monitor enabled, if I attempt to debug/play/profile my application, the first HTTP request appears in the network monitor but never completes. Eventually it times out and the application crashes.

 

Either disabling network monitor or deflate and trying again works absolutely fine.

 

Is there a way to debug my application with network monitor and DEFLATE enabled?
