Adding Social Sharing Buttons To Android Application

How can i adding a social sharing buttons (facebook, twitter etc.)

to pages (views/mypage.xml, views/mypage1.xml) in my android apllication.

Android Application Icon Problem ?

Hi;

 

I added the .ico files in assests folder and icon paths in Main-app.xml file.

When i export the application to .apk file and install the android device,

i see an original android button

How to distribute a private app ? I mean, an app that should not be validated by the Apple AppStore.

I'm looking for a solution that is not the Ad Hoc solution, that does not require to re-publish the app for each new terminal.

FB 4.7 and CFBuilder 3

I am trying to install both Flash Builder (FB) 4.7 and ColdFusion Builder (CFB) 3 into the same IDE and cannot seem to be able to do so successfully. The environment is Mac OSX Yosemite.I have tried installing CFB as a plugin into FB (can't, FB uses Eclipse 4.3), FB as a plugin into CFB (succeeds but FB does not show up as a perspective even though it seems to install successfully), and each as a plugin into Eclipse stand-alone 4.2.2 (last one installed does not show up). Now, my "uninstall" for CFB is hosed - hangs at 32% - i think some original paths written to the uninstall directories are no longer there or something.

 

Is there a trick to getting FB and CFB 3 to work together on Mac Yosemite?

I have been sent a software license for Adobe Flash builder and usually with Adobe Products you get a second email to inform you where to get the software.  At this stage with this procurement this has not happened therefore I cannot provide this to my system administartors as they do not know where to access the software.  Could you please advise

Flash Download stalls at 30% on Yosemite

Is there a fix out there, or one coming for this?  I cannot get passed the 30% on the download/install process.  I've removed it completely to start a clean install and it still will not get past 30%,

Hello,

 

I am trying to port the Flex project developed in Flash Builder 4.6 with Extension builder 2.1, for InDesign CS6 to InDesign CC (2014).

As per the SDK help it mentions I can use the same environment mentioned above to port the project. But when I try it is giving error " This extension cannot be installed, it requires InDesign version in range of inclusively between 9.0 and 9.9."

 

Do I need to set anything before compiling the plugin for CC(2014)? Or do I need to port in some other environment? If yes where can I get the details of other environment?

mp3 licensing

I've been writing some interactive educational software in ActionScript that utilizes Adobe AIR and plays mp3 files to communicate/instruct the user.   I was wondering if I would need to pay mp3 licensing fees based on what I found at

I wrote to the folks at mplicensing.com and got the following question in reply:


Will the software itself include mp3 decode (playback) capability, or will it be using the decoder provided in Android.  If the software doesn’t include mp3 code itself, but simply includes mp3 files for playback by the hardware device mp3 code, than you would need our content distribution license, not our electronic gaming license.

 

If this is true, then it may be that no license is needed at all, since we exempt from the need for our license any entity with mp3 revenues below USD $100,000 per year.


I responded:


I am writing this software in ActionScript using Adobe Flash Builder to create a stand alone application that will be bundled with Adobe AIR and use Adobe AIR to run.  AIR supports Android, iOS, PC desktops, and Macs. 


they replied:

 

I am not sure if AIR will play .mp3 files. If it does, and your code does not have mp3 encode or decode functionality, and AIR is simply used to play the content, and your revenues do not exceed USD $100,000 per year, our license is not required.


My question now is:   Does Adobe AIR use the decoder provided in Android or does it have it's own decoding code?   Are we subject to the licensing fees for games, etc when distributing programs that play MP3 files using Adobe AIR?

Errors in app submission phase.

When I attempt to submit an app to the app-store via application loader I get hit with a wall of errors.

(The app is intended only to test submission process before I move onto the next phase which, is rapid prototyping all it'sjust a simple abstract drawing on frame 1 with no action script.)

(I used FL CS6 with the latest updates)

 

(I do all of my developing in windows the mac is strictly for submitting apps)

(I put in .png icons for every size available within FLCS6 which is 29x29,57x57,114x114,512x512,48x48,72x72,50x50,58x58,100x100,144x144,1024x1024.)

How can I recover deleted project files?

To whom it many concern,

 

I was using Flash builder (eclipse) developed by your company.  I deleted a project, but it deleted all the root folder of that project. How can I have this recovered?  My account of adobe is itehong@gmail.com.

 

We would appreciate your timely response, as this should NEVER have happened in the first place and is now causing detrimental effect on our company and service. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Flash Builder doesn't see my ios8 devices

My dev environment was working fine a couple months back, hadn't made any changes and came back to work on a mobile app.  Now Flash builder cannot see my ios 8 devices.  I think the problem is ios8 and related to provisioning profiles not being installed.  Which of course I can't verify because apple has conveniently removed the ability to see the installed profiles... I have regenerated the provisioning profile and know that the device I am attempting to use is listed.  Honestly this should have even been needed since it was working fine before. 

 

Also I can manually install the app on the device using itunes, however the device will not open, again implying that the profile is missing which is causing the issue.

 

If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.  This has been very frustrating-- apple always seems to be making things more difficult for those who don't follow their dotted line.

 

Also updated my sdk to 4.14.1.

Hello ,

 

I'm having a big issue with the overall stability of Flash Builder 4.7 on my Mac (OS X 10.7.5)

I developped an extension on FB 4.6 for iOS and Android and it was  working good. In the meantime I updated to 4.7, and since then I keep on running in to lots of problems when debuggin or compiling.

Now my extension needs to be extended, and suddenly the complete project stopped, because debugger refuses working on android devices.

What I tried so far:

 

- Creating new workspace

- Running Flash Builder with -clean parameter at startup

- Reinistalling Flash Builder using Adobe Clean Tool

- Stripping all metadata from the project (keeping only the source files) and make a complete new project setup.

 

All to no avail.

 

There's a good chance, I have a problem in my .ane code, but how am I supposed to find out, if debugger isn't working?

 

BTW, I can make an release build of the project, but it hangs after the splash screen. I don't know, if it's a build or coding error, though.

 

Ironically, I convinced my my employer to update FB to 4.7 due to the advanced iOS debugging features, but now I already spent about 10 times more working hours in finding workarounds to debugging / compiling issues than these features will ever be able to save me.

 

Maybe anybody here has an idea on how to solve this issue ?

Hey Everyone,

 

You will find that if you have updated to OS X Mavericks (currently BETA 13/05/13) the iOS Simulator will not activate from the Flash Builder IDE. FB will prompt to saying you need to enable assistive devices but Mavericks has removed this option from the Universal Access option in the system preferences.


Here is the work around:

 

Activate System Events:

System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Accessibility > Tick System Evenh

 

There is no need to restart Flash Builder the simulator should now just work fine.

 

 

Hope that helps prevent a lost few minutes on the old google machine.
