I have a Mac Developer account, and I am trying to sign my Adobe Air desktop application. For reference this is exported as a captive runtime app.
For distributing applications outside the Mac store, Apple says to use the "Mac Developer Id Application" certificate.
When I try to use the .p12 file exported from my Mac Developer Id Application certificate in the Keychain app, Flash Builder gives me an error. "Error creating file: Unable to build a valid certificate chain for the signer."
Unfortunately the documentation I have found is for XCode. Is it possible to use a mac developer account certificate to sign an app in Flash Builder? If not, perhaps I have to pay to get a certificate from another organization. I would appreciate it if anyone can provide guidance. Thanks.
